yoyorecreation - All Plastic Japanese Design

$ 33.99
  • Yoyorecreation has re-imagined their plastic yo-yo and completely redesigned from the ground up for a yo-yo that exceeds the high level of performance expected by competitive yo-yo players today. We are dead serious - this belongs in EVERYONE'S collection!

They used a new manufacturing technique to mold the yo-yo halves out of one solid piece, no side caps, so the hardware is actually built into the yo-yo! This provides a durable and functional design with a incredibly smooth concave area perfect for balancing horizontally on your finger! Thanks to this new construction the New Diffusion really feels and plays closer to one of yoyorecreation's high end metal throws!

Each Diffusion comes fitted with one of the new yoyorecreation DS (Double-Straight) Bearings and is molded out of an amazing clear plastic that really shows off all the beautiful angles when it catches the light.

Available in Neon Yellow or Clear, the New Diffusion yo-yo will definitely turn some heads! Originally released at Japan Nationals they are receiving RAVE reviews!

Without question one of the best plastics ever made

The Diffusion is an incredible yo-yo. It is well made and has fantastic performance. Along with the Premiere I think it is the best plastic to-Yo ever made and I absolutely love mine.

Fantastic

I bought this yoyo since 2 month and I am really happy to see that you can do what you want with it. After playing A LOT (3 hours per day) it continue to be smooth but it vibe a lot (it's my fault it touch the wall a lot :p)

Plastic done right

YYR has done some really special things with the "new" diffusion. Out of the box it has a great feel and response. Using the stock wide bearing it plays super smooth unresponsive, and the narrower flat bearing included can be installed for snappy responsive play, similar to the Fay. Fantastic yoyo, the best plastic 1a throw I've touched. Spin times are good, weight feels ballanced, only complaint is it's a little big, but its not really enough of an issue to not get your hands on one of these. Recieved a pastel blue in the 2017 Lucky Box, color has really grown on me. The Diffusion feels like it's had a rediculous amout of time put into its' design and feel, and it all makes for a plastic 1a yoyo as good as any I've ever seen.

Great for new players and advanced players looking for a beater

Normally, when a new player asks "What yoyo should I get?" this is one of the ones I recommend to them, along with the Recess First Base. They are both fairly unique in that they come with two bearings, so when you're ready for unresponsive play no need to buy a new bearing. The First Base is $20, and while I have no personal experience seems to be a good option. The only problem is that, with the price reduced to $25, I think this is a better one.

The DS this comes with spins like the Tasmanian Devil. Only thing that might annoy people is that it is a bit loud but other than that it's the best bearing I've used.

The stability, weight, size, shape, vibration, and finish are honestly about as good as molded polycarbonate can get. It eats all string tricks for breakfast. Period. That they were able to achieve this good level of stability at around 65 grams is great. Plastics like this usually need more like 67-69 grams (Replay Pro) to be stable, but this makes them slow. Honestly at 58 mm in diameter it is bigger than I'd like, but it seems difficult to make a good smaller plastic. It's still smaller than its sibling Gargantua and the CLYW Yeti. The shape is simple and no-nonsense. No, it's not dead smooth or awesome for grinds like a metal, but that's because it isn't one. Maybe with careful sanding it could be a better grinder, because the stock finish is quite glossy.

For what it is, the Diffusion is near perfection. Only some metals or machined plastics are better.
