I love this yoyo's shape and feel. Its very fun and versitile. The reason I give it four stars because it is unstable. For 20 dollars it is a great buy though.

I can't believe it was $20. I hope more companies continue to out out amazing throws at this wonderful affordable price point because I'm building a great collection of highly quality throws at $20. And THIS throw, "The First Base" is up there at the top!
Everything feels high quality, from the glossy finish to the string they loop and roll up for you so it's literally ready to throw out of the box! That was cool.
Also, let's talk about the box. To me personally packaging says a lot. I work in quality assurance for a living so I pay attention to detail. I love the packaging and box art and print and the fact that there is a cut out that displays the throw. All a nice touch.
Gives it a classic feel. A classic all American feel.

The throw, from the first drop it felt like butter!! The form fits in my hand and it's soft but still at the perfect weight. (How they doin' that?)
Then you swap the bearing and you got a Professional throw. To put it simply... this Yo-yo is pure fun! Well thought out design, comes with two bearings a high quality string and beautifully packaged! All for $20? Love it! They got my respect and I'm a customer for life now. That's how it works. Congrats Recess! My hats off to you.

I bought two of these (one for each of my daughters), and I find myself constantly pulling them off the shelf. They sleep forever and are super stable- a great everyday throw.
