Now, the Warlock takes that same powerful shape and gives it a performance upgrade that you can feel the moment you throw it.

So what’s the big deal with "Boosted"? Simple—7075 alloy. It’s denser than 6061, meaning a heavier feel when you use the same design. The GZR was a great example of this, with a slightly heavier version of the Wizard, but the Warlock? It’s lighter and packs more rim weight, making for a whole new playing experience. While the changes to the design are subtle to the eye, they make a huge difference in play.

In fact, the Warlock is 2 grams lighter than the Wizard but with more power on the edges, making it feel quicker and more responsive, while still delivering that same smooth play you love. The key to this upgrade lies in the weight distribution, and you can feel the difference the moment you throw it. While both the Warlock and Wizard are incredible in their own right, the Warlock’s subtle tweaks to the cup floor and rim weight elevate the play in a whole new way.

"The Warlock is like the wizard's more powerful sibling. I’m drawn to think that Warlocks are a little more... evil by nature? One thing’s for sure, this updated design plays deviously awesome! Main design inspiration for me was reducing the overall weight, and hoping that a shift in weight distribution would create something equally as 'fun' as the Wizard. I really love how the subtle cup differences help distinguish one yoyo from the other with a close inspection.
