Basecamp is one of the coolest collaborations we have seen from two of the most popular yo-yo companies to date - CLYW & YoYoFactory! Instead of collaborating on just one yo-yo, they decided to create a unique brand and release 3 entirely new designs. And the way they went about it is so much fun! Each company designed a yo-yo, but used the other company as the influence for the design. This is the CLYW designed and YoYoFactory influenced Expedition!

Right from first glance you can see some YoYoFactory characteristics in the design. There's some Aviator 2, a little Shutter, and then CLYW mixed in their own flavor with some Orca notes. The end result is fantastic!

The large organic h-shape design of the Expedition maximizes rim weight and gives it an excellent stability and spin time in play. It has a pleasantly solid feel on the string without being overly heavy, and maintains plenty of maneuverability.

Expect to see this one popping up on stage a lot after its release. Fitted with Snow Tires and finished with a soft grind friendly surface this yo-yo is a pure performance player!
