yoyofriends - Yoyofriends’ First 7075 Aluminum Monometal YoYo!

$ 39.99

Introducing the Ease—the first-ever 7075 aluminum monometal from Yoyofriends. Inspired by the silhouette of the Gravitation series and refined with a soft organic shape, the Ease offers a uniquely relaxed throw that blends comfort, control, and consistency.

Yoyofriends has built a reputation for precision design and high-performance yo-yos, typically working with 6061 and 7068 aluminum alloys. But in 2024, after years of observing the potential of 7075 in the hands of other makers, they finally stepped into the space—with outstanding results.

With direction from team member Tony, Yoyofriends set out to craft a yo-yo specifically for practice—something smooth, satisfying, and easy to throw for long sessions. The result is a beautifully balanced O-shaped design that’s more than just laid-back—it’s tuned for serious progress.

When the first prototypes landed at 66 grams, the team was initially cautious. But after extensive feedback from players and testers, the verdict was clear: The Ease feels incredible. The weight is evenly distributed across the rounded 7075 body, creating a solid yet agile feel that’s ideal for long training sessions, tough combos, and laid-back flow alike.

The name says it all—Ease was created to make your practice smoother, your tricks more fluid, and your experience more relaxed. Whether you're chasing that next big breakthrough or just unwinding with your favorite freestyle, this is the yo-yo that lets you find your rhythm naturally.

Disappointing design

Yoyo is designed almost for fingerspins but they didn't quite follow through. Instead, you get a heavy feeling throw with the bad tilt characteristics of an organic in a weird shape. The 7075 material doesn't maximize performance at all and feels irrelevant to its design. It's too heavy for EDC.
