YoYoFactory -   A REALLY WIDE MONO-METAL YO-YO!

The MonsteR makes its grand return and in a newly evolved form!

The original YoYoFactory Monster was born over a decade ago pushing the boundaries on how wide a competition yoyo could be. YoYoFactory’s goal was all about helping influence the direction of trick innovation and if you go back and watch Evan Nagao’s 2014 Nationals Freestyle you can see this in action! The Monster has always been about going big in size, tricks, and visual impact!

Over time the Monster evolved first into the Monster Edge, and now the new MonsteR putting a new spin on the heavily weighted R-type shape so many of us have come to love. This new MonsteR model sets a new standard for wide metal yoyos. It strikes the perfect balance of width and stability making it super easy to hit your biggest tricks while still able to maneuver through your most complex string tricks.

Smooth, powerful, and fun are all words we would use to describe this amazing new yoyo. Don’t let the size scare you away, this MonsteR is here to help you slay any trick.

Exceeded Expectations

In short: you should try one of these.

For reference, I generally haven't liked yoyos wider than 44mm. With this one being so much wider, I wasn't sure if I'd absolutely hate it, or if it would be so much wider that it was entirely different. Thankfully, it's the latter. Somehow the size doesn't seem to get in the way at all.

I also wasn't sure if the width was just a gimmick, but this thing is actually just a really solid monometal. It's stable (esp. for something so wide) and doesn't feel too heavy at all. Gotta say, this thing is way better than I expected. I'd definitely recommend picking one up if you're on the fence.

Honestly, you should buy one too

I'm going to be short and simple. It delivers a satisfyingly powerful throw as well as being incredibly agile, stable and easy to control. I love this yoyo. Its a fun throw no matter how you slice the pie. I'm thinking of buying a second one. (the yoyo, not another pie) So as I stated previously, you should buy one too. It's an all around great yoyo.

I love it!!!

This is my new favorite yoyo. It's so smooth. Surprisingly much easier to navigate the string than I thought. But it's rent

Truly a beast!

Absolutely in love with this thing... Smooth spinning and excellent weight! Smacks back with AUTHORITY! Such a well designed monolith of metal! The blood splatter looks siiiick in person! It's NOT purple at all as it looks in the photos on here, more a slightly shiny gunmetal grey. Absolutely beautiful throw!

A must have.

Blown away by this thing. My girlfriend got me one for my birthday and was bummed that it wasn't a bi-metal... Until I tried it. This might be the most fun yo-yo I have now (out of a collection of around 50 pretty pricey throws).

This yo-yo reminded me that the age of a yo-yo design is no indication of how well it performs and has definitely inspired me to hunt for other older gems. The thing is a beast and wants to land every trick you throw at it. There's something inexplicable about the way it feels too. Just so nice, the ring it makes when you land a nice snappy bind is very satisfying. You should absolutely grab one.
