The Miracle may seem unbelievable but its real and ready to help you be victorious. YoYoFactory worked with Mir and Miri Kim to help them design a yo-yo that they showed can conquer anything.

Mir and Miri Kim are a brother and sister duo that is taking the yo-yo world by storm. They have dominated the Online Wold Yo-Yo Contest for the last 2 years and they are just getting started. Some might say it is a miracle that they won both the 1A and Women’s title two years in a row but with the right skills and tools, like the Miracle they have shown anything is possible.

The Miracle uses a very unique design that combines 7075 Aluminum, Brass and Polycarbonate. The extreme rim weight of Brass provides a great spin time. While the polycarbonate cover adds some size and durability to the yo-yo.

This beautiful design is more than just looks. Mir and Miri Kim have shown just what this yo-yo can do with their victories, what will you be able to do with a Miracle on your side?

The Name Says It All

I got the Miracle back in May as a sort of birthday present to myself. At the time I was not only rusty but pretty garbage in terms of more advanced and modern play, so I wanted to wait a while to improve my skills and give a proper review. However, on the first throw -i'm not exaggerating, the very first throw- it was like I was five times better than I knew myself to be. I was consistently hitting, without even trying, tricks that gave me serious trouble with other yoyos. Yoyos like the Hummingbird, or Aitch, or Haymaker (AL) had me struggling, where the Miracle made everything feel effortless. My son and I tend to share tricks and tips to keep each other interested and improving. When he saw the difference the Miracle made he was amazed. it was about as night and day as it gets.

I've picked up quite a few yoyos since then, but the Miracle is still my favorite. I've got one or two that keep getting close, but as soon as I pick it up again it's right back in the lead. It just has that perfect combination of stability, power, and ease, plus a surprising hint of floatiness, to make it about as perfect as any yoyo can be. From talon grinds to finger spins to chill mode to tech combos, there's nothing the Miracle can't handle. And most importantly: it's fun as hell.

My 2023 default competition yoyo, among the best I've tried

Super light feeling and stable yoyo, very satisfied after 4+ months of daily use. I've tried many competition yoyos over the years and this one does the best with my speed and long horizontal combos, holding its axis for as long as is needed. I don't use gloves, and even after 20 minutes or so of prelim grinding, my fingers still feel ok, no string burn or cuts. It's quite zippy, but that also means that it's easy for you to go faster than intended, so proceed with caution. It won't force you to slow down like a shutter wide angle would, and it feels a good deal lighter despite it being significantly more stable. If you're a big fan of Mir's style or feel inspired by Ayumu Kasuga's ridiculous speed and horizontal, this yoyo is the one for you. If you're looking for a more laid back option, I may look elsewhere. But following in the footsteps of the Orbital GTX and before that the Edge/Statement, this yoyo is my new default pick for competitive play.

Note - the polycarbonate rings give it a distinct feel, but it's not at all bad. It was a great idea and even after some bangs on concrete, the yoyo plays as well as the day I got it. However, the rings may come a bit loose from time to time and recede inward toward the center of the yoyo. To fix this, find a table, place the yoyo on its side, and put your thumb and pointer fingers on the plastic ring. Push down. Alternatively, you can hold it in your hand, go around and push up on the rings with your thumb until it's flush.
