People say bimetals under $100 are a steal, but this one is half that! Great, standard bimetal yoyo, nothing too crazy. Smooth design, long grinds and spintime, for the price you can’t go wrong.

As the review title suggests, I'm a teacher. A student gave me a fifty dollar gift card at the end of the year (after grades were in) and this organic bi-metal seemed like a good way to use it. This yo-yo confirmed my evolving preference for a diameter slightly on the lower side. In the right hands, it could work for competition, but I enjoy how its long spin time and restrained dimensions work well for the close-in technical tricks I've been trying to learn. I hit my first Black Hops with this and its my go-to for my project to really dial in Titanium Chopsticks. I still accidentally bang my every-day-carries on our wooden floor now and then, but the solidly built full-rim stainless steel rings shrug it off and it remains vibe-free. This may be one of the best combinations of spin time, stability, affordability, and hand-feel combinations out there now.
