Installed bearing in the Colossus V, w/ nitro string +
I was very excited to try this bearing; i was VERY disappointed with this bearing. Can't do slack string tricks with it, it binds immediately and launches back and bruises your hand 7/10 throws. I've been using it for about 2 weeks now. and I'm about done with it. I should have just bought a new yo-yo for the cost of this bearing.
the most frustrating thing is: NSK bearings are top quality bearings in the automotive world, i really had high hopes for this little guy. highly disappointing.
cons: price, noisy, gritty feeling when spinning, acts like a reactive bearing.
pros: still trying to figure one out.

I personally bought this after saving up my money for a couple of weeks and I thought I was being careful buying the right bearing but the look of the golden bearing was just another marketing idea for them to get a quick buck. And for 20 DOLLARS NO LESS. This bearing I purchased along with the VaporMotion yoyo and this spins worse han the original bearing inside the yoyo. In gereral this bearing isn't the greatest but maybe my bearing was just off or manufactured worse than the others in the batch so don't take this review to harshly to think that in gereral this is just a bad bearing. But 100% be careful when spending this much money on a such a small item.

I attended the second annual y3a yomega world championship way back in the day when the cold fusion had just come out and shattered the silver bullets record spin time of roughly two and a half minutes. My Raider and Turbo Bumblebee of the time was doing great if I could throw it for 40 seconds...now, a lot has changed and with non binding yo-yos these spin times are achievable with a snap start. But point of the story is, yesterday I threw my yoyo and averaged a spin time of about 1:15. I put this bearing on and immediately threw it for 2:40. And while these spin times are minuscule in this day and age, and spin time doesn’t matter at all anymore, the fact remains that this bearing spun over twice as long as the standard yoyo factory center trac ball bearing. These are the pinnacle of precision bearings and I’m positive you’ll notice a significant improvement in performance. 100% worth the price.

i have been using my gold center trac bearing for about two years now i have worn all the gold off of it and it is by far the best bearing i have ever encountered highly recommend
