My son loves this yoyo! Great for beginners!

When I was a kid in the 80's my favorite yoyo was the Duncan Professional. I had to fill out an order form and mail it off to Duncan with some cash to get it, and I loved that thing. It played like nothing else back then. The Hornet is the closest thing I could find to my old Pro, and I love it almost as much.

The Hornet plays a lot like I remember the Pro, only smoother, faster, and with a much longer spin time. The only difference, for me anyway, is the bearing system. Back in the day I would twist the yoyo to tighten the string for effortless loops. On a bearing, I just need to adapt my throw to get the same effect. It's a little more work, but not so much you notice.

All in all, this is a really nice yoyo, especially for the price.

The best yoyo for beginners! It was my first yoyo and I would recommend it to any beginner. Long spins for new tricks and great for looping.

So this is my first looping yoyo I ever got and I have to say, it's pretty great. It doesn't tilt very much when I loop and it is very responsive. Definitely worth the 13 dollars.

after using this , my maximum (outside) loops instantly transformed from ten to a hundred!!! This may sound hard to believe , but this instant transformation even shocked myself! Before I decided that this was for me , I read countless positive reviews from various websites and one said "this is like the combination of the responsiveness of a raider with the light looping weight of the loop 700".So accordingly , his bested the yyf and yomega yo-yo's , which we know ( and it IS ) legendary.You don't need further research , THIS IS THE BEST YO-YO FOR YOU.
