As Colin's style evolves, his signature models need to evolve along with it. The Coglite is based his original bimetal design, the Cognition, with updated specs. They reduced the weight of the yoyo by a few grams and adapted the shape slightly to make it more comfortable for 1A. The result is a less bulky and more nimble version of the original Cognition, known as Cognition Lite or “Coglite”.

One of the best yoyos

I was very surprised about how good this thing is, it is suuper smooth and it plays realy well , definetly this is my main now , I used to main a yoyofriends peregrine, but for me this one is better

Probably the best throw I’ve ever used, and I own many.

Seriously I hesitated to even make this review because once the word spreads these will be unavailable. I’ve already bought 2 and I’m about to buy 2 more.

First bimetal I’ve ever used that is DEAD smooth. Normally they have at least some vibe.

It has so much power. With my recognition (which has a lot of power itself) I have to really throw it hard to get some good spin time and stability. With the coglite, I really barely have to throw it. I just gently toss a breakaway and I have plenty of power and stability to hit everything I want before the bind.

With that much power I’d expect it to feel heavy on the string, but it’s the exact opposite. It feels super floaty and “loose.” Really fast, really whippy but again, super stable.

I haven’t found a bad thing to say about them yet. I honestly believe this will be one of the most popular throws of 2021. It’s just so good. Almost skipped it, glad I didn’t.
