Atmos proudly introduces the Ekta, a yo-yo designed by Evgeniy Kochergin as the first in their new Monogram line.

This line allows Atmos team members to fully control the product concept, design, and storytelling, showcasing their unique styles and philosophies. Atmos approached Evgeniy in May 2023 to create a signature model, giving him a blank canvas to craft a yo-yo entirely from his perspective as a player and competitor.

Evgeniy wanted a large, powerful bimetal yo-yo, leading to the final design: a 58mm diameter and 67.3g mass model. This design aligns with his aggressive, rhythmic, and fluid playstyle, ensuring quick and easy movement despite its heft. The Ekta features ergonomic cuts reminiscent of the Aria, a domed hub similar to the Polaris, and angular rims that pack over 60% of its mass, providing substantial weight while maintaining agility.

Evgeniy also created the art for the Ekta release, inspired by vintage sportswear, cars, and street culture advertisements. The name Ekta pays homage to his favorite film stock, Kodak Ektachrome, reflecting his passion for film and photography. The Ekta is a large, fast competition model that embodies Evgeniy’s vision and style, adding a unique touch to Atmos' lineup.
