I was looking for a plastic practice yoyo that wouldn't bite my fingers off like my 888 and other professional yoyos do when snagging on new learned tricks, and this is THE FIRST "toy" level yoyo I've found where the packaging lies to you. When you see this yoyo at first in the package, it screams toy, until you give it that first (well second) throw...then your mind will be blown at what it's capable of when you change out the slim bearing for a full width size-C bearing and some quality string.

PROS:
Modular - You can modify the feel of this yoyo by simply changing parts to ones you like.
Small Form Factor - It's just a HAIR larger in diameter than the 888
Solid Weight - Holding it definitely doesn't FEEL like a toy.
Silicone Response - No crappy plastic teeth or thick super responsive rubber o-rings
Narrow Gap - It can be seen as a con, but because it already has a slim bearing, it allows for "options"
Cost - How can you do any better than $8.99???
Perfect balance - I have a hard time making this thing throw crooked

CONS:
Narrow Gap - It's upside can be a downfall because if you don't like a lot of response, you need to get a full width size-C bearing, bringing the cost up from $9 to about $20.
No Hub Stacks or Option for it - I would gladly pay a couple $$ more for the ability to add hub stacks to this yoyo.
Ugly Labels - Little donut stickers don't do this yoyo justice. They just make it look more like a toy. I may make some engraved metal discs to replace those.

This was my first modern yoyo and im so happy I got it. It's well worth the $6 it costs. Trust me. It's the longest lasting fun you can spend for 6 bucks easily! I don't know why but when I'm having trouble with a new trick I give this a try and more than a couple times it got me through the trick.

Comes with a narrow C bearing. Response system with the narrow bearing is very consistent. Yoyo is really balanced and smooth. It feels quite stable as well thanks to the rim weight. I threw in a spare full size concave bearing (doesn't come with yoyo) and the yoyo still performed well unresponsive. It's nice that with a quick switch of a bearing I can have responsive or unresponsive. The response pads work well.

Great yoyo, especially for the price. Good yoyo for beginners or for a cheaper everyday carry-around that you don't need to worry about getting dinged or scratched.

At this price you simply cannot find a better yo-yo. I was able to convince my whole office group to buy these after demonstrating their quality and telling them the price. This is the gateway into yo-yoing.

Nobody who is even remotely interested in getting their first decent yo-yo will pass this up at $6.00. I have introduced this Yo-yo to 18 people. 19 people came back to me super happy about buying it. This yo-yo is changing the world.

This is the yoyo that I started with and I bought a responsive version out of nostalgia. Even with its relatively low spin time and stability, I would absolutely recommend it at a price of 6$. Even with its cons, it's light weight makes it fun to throw
