I have 2 of these, one fixed and one with the bearing and plastic tip. These are very good for indoor use as the plastic tips are easier on hardwood floors than metal. This is a fun little top and its as solid as a rock and about as durable. I recommend buying additional strings as I found the ones that come with these wear out quick. I also find that this top seems to be easier to throw using the ring, especially when you are new to tops. Its the only top I have that I use the ring when throwing. Its also easier to wind using the ring as I find this a very small top compared to other standard size tops like the Ling Dong tops.

This is quite an enjoyable little top. I am new to tops, and I have found this to be a lot of fun. With its fixed tip, this thing is a tank. Also, comparing it to the elec-trick, I would definitely say this feels more stable. It will have a shorter spin time though due to the fixed tip. One small gripe with it and I do mean small is that when winding, the string likes to slide down due to the shorter, steeper body. Ultimately, I think I like the elec-trick more, but the short circuit is still a solid choice at almost half the price. I mean, you can easily spend six dollars on a pack of strings. So if you are at all slightly interested in tops, pick one up. This will serve as a great introduction into tops, and you won't be breaking the bank to do so.

I love this top. I'm new to spin tops, and this is a great, inexpensive first step in. It's a real shame more people aren't into tops. It's a fun, meditative activity that lends itself to socializing.

This thing is absolutely great. I bought about 4 of them, and will probably buy more.
They are so durable, and great to do battles with. The string is just a little but short, but if yiu use the ring it's about just right. Yoyofactory sells a package with a string, and 2 ball like buttons. The string in that package is about the perfect length. I was trying to teach someone sky rocket trick. They jerked the top soooo hard that it went up about 12 feet in the air came back down on concrete, and the top took it like a champ.
