Fluid Print Dynamics was originally a small experimental project started by Jeffrey Pang of Luftverk back in 2014. Jeff was 3D printing some innovative yoyos and developed a brass spacer system that allowed for a higher quality bearing seat for 3D printed designs. Now, with the growing popularity and ease of 3D printing we decided to ask him to make some more!

This spacer kit has everything you need to assemble any of the ready-to-print 3D models found in the Fluid Print Dynamics Downloads page here or any custom yoyo you want to design around it. Perfect for educational purposes or hobbyists alike. This kit is also a great option for people who turn their own yoyos from scratch!

These custom made brass spacers are designed to fit common "C-sized" bearings and 19mm response pads (not included in the kit). The kit also includes a 20mm axle and two acorn hex nuts which are needed to assemble a single 3D printed yoyo model.

bearing stuck on spacer

I 3d printed a yoyo for this spacer. the kit fit great and I was excited to try it. First throw obviously something wrong. I go to take apart the yoyo and check it over and the bearing is stuck to the spacer. I tried a standard bearing removal tool and tried pliers and eventually bent and subsequnetly destroyed the spacer to get the c type bearing off the yoyo. I can accept that the yoyo i made doesn't work but this was fully on the spacer... :(

great product

A great product, it does what it says.
Given that you need a 3D printer and proper 3D printing training to properly use this kit.

Be careful only to not tighten too much the printed yoyo, because the bearing might get suck into the spacer, and since the spacers are not glued to the yoyo cups, it might be hard to remove without proper tools.
I damaged one on 4 of mine in this way, but the very serious yoyoexpert customer service immediately replaced the piece.

cool product, horrendous support

In order to 3D print anything, you need to download files to your PC, and then use slicing software on a PC, to prepare and then print the files.

Instead, what you are given with this product is a QR code to scan on mobile, which is completely asinine. PRINT THE URL. I had to scan the QR code and then manually type in the URL on my PC to get the files as the URL was also omitted here, on the product page.

Additionally, the downloads don't include a STEP file of the seat for this hardware, only two models to print yourself, when the whole draw of this product for many will be the ability to design their own yoyos utilizing this hardware.

Utterly ridiculous.
