It does have a little bit of that classic Russel feel, which is awesome for people who remember/have used a Russel looper. This loops a little slower than the 720 at first, but with a break in and practice you can get similar speed out of it. It sleeps a little more easily and feels more stable for Tangler and wraps as well. I would recommend this over the 720 for beginners. Most importantly, you get the same unit-to-unit consistency as other YYF loopers so you don't have to worry about buying several to get two that loop alike. There is no out of the box tuneability, so that might deter some more advanced 2a players, But other than that this is a solid yo-yo and i expect this will become a 'Classic'
