yoyofriends -   Beginner to Advanced Finger Spin YoYo!

27
$ 17.99
Introducing the AoE plastic yoyo from YoYoFriends! It's their very first all-plastic yoyo, designed for everyone from beginners to experts.

For beginners, it comes ready to be completely responsive with a short axle and a slim bearing that comes right back with a tug for all the basic tricks. Or use the wide bearing setup with longer axle and its ready for completely unresponsive long spinning advanced string tricks. Thanks to its shape and design it provides some serious power and stability and even if your throw isn't perfectly straight you will find it more forgiving on and off the string, perfect for learning and perfecting tricks.

Our favorite part of the AoE is its finger spin area! This is definitely one of the best budget friendly finger spin yoyos on the market and it really pulls your finger right into the spot to help learn everyone's favorite yoyo trick the DNA.

"AoE" stands for "Area of Effect" as a yoyo built from the ground up to appeal to everyone, whether you're just starting or advanced looking for a fun new plastic yoyo!

I agree - Over-hyped

Considering the weight and how heavy this is - definitely over-hyped for sure. It is by far one of the smoothest polycarbs I've used, however, do yourself a favor and buy a shooting star/speedaholic instead.

Dang good plastic

The best and smoothes injection molded plastic yoyo I’ve ever used. Smoother than the K2p, mojo, variant, replay pro etc and cheaper than a lot of high preforming plastics.

Overhyped

Love the design, DNA is very good, and vibe isn't an issue either. However, the responsive set up is more semi-responsive, which might throw off beginners. Unresponsive, the yoyo is underwhelming with poor spin time. Many times, the AOE has died or tilted and isn't good with grinds. Yoyofriends always disappoints me, despite their great reputation and quality products. Many of their yoyos suffer from good spin time. Only good ones are the pheasant mono and davini.

Damn Good Plastic

I scored two of these directly from Yoyo Friends when they dropped earlier this month--they're outstanding budget throws with great finger spin cups and gorgeous aesthetics. The cup finish is surprisingly low-friction for plastic and the rims are weighted for long spin times. They play much like my TopYo Mojo or my Magic Yoyo Skyva. These are a great choice for teaching beginners the bind or starting them with the narrow bearing responsive play option. The purple/pink fade looks even better in real life. Collectors or people starting their yoyo journey will enjoy this throw.
