From 66 percent: The 888 has finally been added to the 66% family, and it’s one of the most important models since our launch! The 888 has been one of the most cherished and collected models from YoYoFactory, and a goal of ours to add to the 66% line since we began.

The 888 was a pioneer in it's time. A unique metal yo-yo with a hub stack mounted on a slightly smaller body, it has become a bestseller and has become a driving force behind the spread of full metal yo-yos. For the 66% 888, the hub stack part uses the same parts as the original. As a result, the silhouette is slightly different in appearance, but we couldn't make an 888 without hubstacks!

During the prototyping stages we decided the yoyo becomes too small when reduced by 66% (33 mm), so we went with a 38mm diameter instead of the true 66%. This makes it much more playable and enjoyable without compromising performance. In addition, we decided to include high quality size A size bearings made by NSK micro for the hub stack bearings to give the 66% 888 a long smooth spin when holding the stacks.

For this model there are two types of body materials, brass plate and stainless steel plate, and the weight changes depending on the coloring (coating). The detailed weight is as follows:

Brass (Raw): 62.8 g
Pink / Rhodium: 63.4 g
