Shuriken - Stable and Powerful V-Shaped YoYo!

Introducing Shuriken's latest monometal creation - Roppo.

Roppo marks Shuriken's inaugural venture into a performance-driven monometal design, following the Juji (known for its oversized, robust build) and the Senban (renowned for its slimline profile). Featuring a distinctive V-shaped, it carries a modest weight of 65.3g and spans a width of 46.8mm. The Roppo showcases versatility, offering adept stability and nimbleness for a wide array of tricks.

The name "Roppo" pays homage to the Roppo Shuriken, a six-pointed Hira-shuriken. Its understated logo is meticulously etched near the hub area. Diego Berini has also lent his signature touch with a custom colorway, complete with his logo elegantly engraved in close proximity to the hub.

Powerful but...

Surprisingly powerful with specs I really appreciate. However, I've owned two before and the bearing post is super tight. not a fan of the machining. But it plays really great and I usually don't praise V shapes. Good job. UPDATE

Surprisingly Excellent

I wasn't expecting too much when I got myself a Roppo. It was only $33 and a B-Grade after all, and I was only getting it to support Diego Berini and add a new brand to my collection. I definitely wasn't expecting to be impressed by this yoyo. But I was.

B-Grade or not, the Roppo I got played perfectly. It's dead smooth and the finish is perfect for any kind of grind. The center is domed, not dimpled, but it still works great for finger spins. It's extremely stable; I haven't had it tip over on me once. The response is nice and snappy, but might require a thicker string. The weight distribution makes it play light but powerful, and it's deceptively nimble for tighter string tricks.

I tried hard to figure out what made it a B-Grade, but all I could come up with is the fade being slightly farther out toward the edge on one half compared to the other. And by "slightly" I mean about an eighth of an inch. In my book it's flawless, easily the best yoyo I own in the price range, and better than many that cost a lot more. Get two and take advantage of the free shipping.

Comfy V Shaped Throw!

Compared to the Bimetal Happo, this monometal is much better and cheaper. Nice wide gap and polished inner rings make this yoyo spin quite long. The diameter feels large like the recess triple double but it plays much better. Pick one up!
