Duncan - Light Up Yo-Yo!

$ 8.99

The newly redesigned Duncan Pulse is one of our favorite light up yo-yos! It lights up bright, has great balance, and it's extremely affordable!

Color changing lights and blinking patterns vary with each second of increased spin time to give the Pulse a really dynamic look in play. The redesigned shape offers improved looping performance and the ball bearing offers plenty of spin time.

The Pulse takes a standard 2-handed performance and transforms it into a fantastic show of light and color! Turn the lights off and get ready to turn some heads with the light up Pulse!

perfection for what it is at a steal

Ok first of all I'm suddenly looping with these as well as a a popular 2A looper. I like the gap fine but you can mod it if you choose. The only thing to keep in mind is the clutch mechanism that controls the light-up feature steals a little inertia or momentum and so your spin time is reduced -- but it's worth it and wouldn't bother me until I'm ready to do a milk wrap *fountain* which is a ways off. Then I'll switch to my LED Loop 2020's... but for now I'm saving those, and really enjoying Duncan's much more sophisticated LED guts that put on a colorful, alternating show, and shut on and off automatically. If you are new and want a lot of wow's and bang for your buck, you can learn to do Round the World very quickly and easily, and these look amazing doing a lot of the work for you. With a strong toss I can keep these spinning for many vertical round the world circles and still have them respond. Also the newer ones are better, and these are those. Replacement batteries are a very cheap common size. I got four of these and found a couple of packs of batteries all for the price of one intermediate 1A throw. Still haven't needed to replace the batteries though because they last, and so I kinda wish I waited to buy the batteries, they're just sitting around getting old.

Good. Just good.

Had one for years, and it broke, and I go to my older brother, and he still has his from 6 years ago. Other than the response system being bit stingy, the mechanism as a whole runs amazing given the amount of wear it's been though. For the money, a great gift, and if you want to get into 2A, maybe not a terrible one to start with. It'll definitely get you somewhere before you upgrade.
