YoYoExpert is proud to be the first place in the world that you will find the amazing Smooth Move yo-yo from all new manufacturer Spin Dynamics. This new company is owned and operated by professional judge Nick Gumlaw who has an amazing understanding of yo-yo design and aesthetics!
The Smooth Move is designed with a strong focus on grinding. The slightly flared rims allow for a smooth feel while grinding, and to minimize friction by reducing the surface area in contact with your hand/arm. Recessed Lexan polycarbonate caps help add a couple of grams of weight in a key structural area, and also allow for the execution of sideways thumb grinds. A slight overhang around the polished raw aluminum rim also allows for easier execution of palm grinds by softening the edge and reducing the surface area that touches your palm.
Caps are individually soda blasted to create the frosted look and Smooth Move "SM" logo. The polished aluminum side adds a unique and classy element, that is extremely eye-catching while spinning.
Every Smooth Move is hand-polished, assembled, and individually tested by Spin Dynamics before it is packaged, assuring that each one is structurally sound, and that they look, play, and feel just right.
Features the P-Pad response system that provide tight binds and last a very long time but are adhesive free and easy to remove and replace! The Smooth Move is also one of the first yo-yos to use a stainless steel helicoil insert to stabilize the axle system and provide wear resistance even with extreme heavy use and the repeated threading/unthreading of the halves. We highly recommend the Smooth Move for all advanced players!
