When YoYoFactory releases a yo-yo it is always exciting. However when people first began to get their hands on the Catalyst the reaction was amazing. Catalyst is everything people have loved about so many yo-yos in one great design. Not to mention the signature series of their truly talented Team Member Augie Fash!
The Catalyst takes its overall design and aesthetics from quite a few popular yo-yos! Its weight distribution is extremely rim weighted while still creating a shape that is more comfortable and angular but rounded. The result is long spin and stability for freestyle performance but ask any professional who has thrown it and they also tell you there is something that is just fun and different! We could not agree more!
Further the Signature Series Catalyst is perfectly matched to Augie Fash who has been respected for incredible speed and entertaining performances. It floats across the string, has a wonderfully smooth finish, and moves fast! Catalyst will get a reaction unlike any other yo-yo in your collection!
